Bakes by Renata

For offices, schools, and organizations

Corporate and Event Catering Guide

Everything you need to decide, in one place. What I cater, how much to order, how far ahead to ask, and how payment works. If you are the person who got handed the dessert job, this should answer it without a phone call. Proudly serving offices, schools, and organizations across Nutley, Clifton, Montclair, Bloomfield, West Orange, Lyndhurst, and surrounding North Jersey areas.

1. Corporate & Event Catering Services

Baked to order in my own licensed kitchen in Nutley and hand delivered by me.

Nothing to set up

Everything arrives arranged and ready to put straight on the table. No platters or serving tongs to find. Individually wrapped options are available when people are taking something to go rather than staying to eat.

2. How Much to Order (Serving Sizes & Platters)

The right quantity depends on one thing: whether the baked goods are the only food being served, or an addition at the end of a meal.

The only food

Morning drop-offs, staff rooms, open houses, anything where people are not sitting down to a meal.

2 to 3 pieces per person

After a meal

Luncheons, dinners, banquets, anything where dessert follows something else.

When requested, some items can be cut in half to help stretch servings. Every price is published on the products page, so you can plan a budget before you contact me.

3. Notice and delivery

Standard notice is 2 days. That covers most platter and box orders.

Orders over 100 pieces require 5 days notice.

Delivery: Nutley, Clifton, Montclair, Bloomfield, West Orange, and Lyndhurst. Additional towns on request. I deliver myself, so a morning drop-off before a first bell or a meeting start is normal rather than special.

4. Quotes, invoicing, and payment

I can send a formal quote. If you need something to take to whoever approves spending, ask and I will send an itemized quote with your organization on it.

Nothing is owed up front. I confirm availability within 24 hours, then send an invoice once the details are settled.

Payment: card through Square or Zelle. The invoice is itemized and comes from Bakes by Renata, so it can go straight to accounts.

5. Licensing and allergens

Every item carries a full ingredient and allergen label, which matters more than people expect when you are feeding a large crowd.

Licensed New Jersey Cottage Food Operator, permit # 7603094. This food is prepared pursuant to N.J.A.C. 8:24-11 in a home kitchen that has not been inspected by the Department of Health. All orders are sold and delivered directly to you, the consumer. Bakes by Renata is not a nut-free, peanut-free, gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free, or allergen-free kitchen.

6. How to order

Use the order form. It asks for your date, delivery window, headcount and town, which is everything I need to confirm in one pass instead of three emails.

Not sure what fits? Tell me the headcount, the time of day, and the occasion, and I will come back with a short list rather than a catalog.
